Week 9 Recap - This week we continued to work on the Aquatint project. The critique will be held Wednesday April 6th. On Wednesday we also introduced the fourth project Relief print - Theme: Cabinet of Curiosities.

Week 8 Recap - Students had the anatomy lecture on the hands and feet and made a long pose drawing with two of each due after break. Next week the features, head and neck.

Week 7 Recap- Tuesday was our longpose leg drawing as well as anatomy #3 the lower leg. Thursday was the introduction to the Arm anatomy and short poses. Next week we will focus on the hands and feet.

Week 7 Recap - Tuesday was critique #1 for both sections projects 1 and 2 were reviewed. Thursday was a lab day to work on the remaining projects for the semester.

Week 7 Recap - Both classes we worked on the color pixel project. This image shows transferring the photo to my grid. Next week we will finish this project and critique for midterm grading.

FA 226 Printmaking Intaglio Week 7

Week 7 Recap - Both Mon and Wed we continued the demonstration of the aquatint process. Students should keep the timing of the various acid stages well monitored to control the tint. The critique is now postponed to Wed Mar 9th.
