Proportion study

Week 1 Recap - This week we discussed the syllabus on Tues and began with gesture and proportion on Thurs.  Students were given 3 copy/interpretations from page 59 in the textbook.  Using the diagrams of simple shapes students should create 3 drawings that show joints of the skeleton moving. Refer to the demo image to help get started.

Week 1 Recap - On Tues we reviewed the syllabus and materials for the course.  Thursday we began painting our first piece Grisaille (drawing with paint).  Students will finish working on the grisaille piece on Tuesday and start the Wipe Out Inprimatura on Thursday.

FA 106 Color Theory Week 1

Week 1 Recap - This week we covered the syllabus and began working on our first project.  Students will match 10 color paint swatches and then choose from a few exercise diagrams to show mastery over simple color properties.
 

FA 202 Intermediate Drawing Week 1

Week 1 Recap - Monday we read thru the syllabus, discussing materials and units of study.  Wednesday students brought in their Series Object.  This object will be the focus for the first unit of study and will be used as a subject for drawing exercises during the first few weeks.
