Color Theory TR Week 7

Week 7 Recap - Both Tues and Thurs we worked on the alteration aspect of the ink blot and printing out the pixel portrait for the 25th of March critique.

Color Theory MW Week 7

Week 7 Recap - Monday and Wednesday we worked on both the ink blot computer alterations and the pixel portrait/egg projects. The pixel project is slated to be critiqued on Wed Mar 24.

2D Design Week 7

Week 7 Recap - Monday we collected the Big Small Project, and introduced the Symbol Design Project. A demonstration was given on creating thumbnail drawings based on the theme: 4 Elements (earth, air, fire, water) or Planets (mercury, venus....Pluto). Wednesday I presented the rough sketch ideas from which the Whale and grenade were selected for a final piece. Monday March 22 student rough sketches are due, and the final piece critique is Wed Mar 24th.

Figure Drawing 2 Week 6

Week 6 Recap - Tuesday class was canceled, while Thursday we had Anatomy Lecture for the Lower Leg. Next week will be Anatomy of the Arms. Homework is Chapter 8 p76-106 Two copied drawings of the arms and hands. Students should take deliberate care to make drawings that imitate the original artists line, proportion, structure and tone.
