2D Design Week 1

Week 1 Course Recap:
FA 105 2D Design - Monday we reviewed the syllabus, drew a pig and ended early so students could purchase materials for the next class. Wednesday we discussed the pig drawing, the Elements of Composition and the Design/Creative Process. Then we began designing our Value/Saturation Scale compositions. Remember that these pieces should have 18 shapes representing 9 steps of value and 9 steps of saturation. My demonstration project has Hippo shapes for the saturation scale and Tree shapes for the value scale.
