FA 101 General Drawing Week 14

Tuesday students worked on a warm cool colored drawing. Thursday students made a little giant drawing, creating a full page size drawing of a small object. 

FA 104 Figure Drawing 2 Week 14

This week students began the first final drawing. Both class sessions focused on a double figure pose based on the Artist and Muse theme from an Andrew Conklin painting. Next week will be a second final pose.

FA 209 Painting 1 Week 14

Tues and Thurs students continued working on their final paintings for our final critique on thurs dec 11th.

FA 106 Color Theory Week 14

Tues students continued to finish working on the robot critter project while holding a critique for the project on Thursday. Demonstration for part A observation (2 thumbnail sketches) and a painted observation is now optional. Students should come to class on tues ready to complete part 2 artist analysis. Thursday will be our final critique of the project.

FA 101 Homework #5 spoons

This assignment students were asked to make spoon gestures (10), reflection self portrait, and 3 imagined textures on spoons. 

FA 101 General Drawing Week 13.5

Tuesday we draw a still life of plaster casts and plants. Students looked to show the contrast of nature versus the man-made. The final homework is due Tuesday dec 2. Examples in next post.
