FA 209 Painting 1 Week 13
Students continued to work on the palette project while a combination portrait/palette project #2 demonstration was made by the instructor as Nicole sat for the painting. Clips of Painting the Classic Self-Portrait by Kerry Dunn were shown on the crafty.com platform. Kerry is an instructor at the Incamminati school in Philly.

FA 218 Painting 2 Week 14
This week student hurried to finish the last projects before next weeks critique deadline. Demonstration portraits were worked on both days.

FA 209 Painting 1 week 15-16
Week 15-16 recap - final critique was held on December 12 for the: color box, palette project, drape/portrait/cast, and final projects. Students will have completed 10 total paintings for the semester. Demonstrations were given for each.

These weeks students began to focus on the gesture and proportions of the figure within their own media style of choice.
Compositions should reflect intelligent choices about light vs shadow and placement on the page.
