Monday students finish working the graphic comps, here are the demonstration results. Wednesday students began gathering reference images for project 2 Noun + Form before holding critique of project #1.

FA 105 2D Design Week 4

On Monday students had 1 on 1 critiques with the instructor to choose the top 10 designs and begin making the final 6 graphic compositions. Wednesday student used lab time to continue to finish the comps, critique of the assignment will be on Monday the 17.

FA 105 2D Design Week 1

This week we discussed the syllabus and course materials need for class on Monday. Students should bring pencils, eraser, tracing paper pad and markers.

FA 105 2D Design Week 3

Week 3 Recap- this week students created their 40 thumbnails using the chosen character and shape. On Wednesday we started the 20 rough compositions drawing from the two best designed thumbs in each category. On Monday we will select the best roughs to make into our final designs.
