FA 105 2D Design Week 8

On Monday students began work on designing the color wheel and submitted the noun form project for grading. Wednesday students continued to create the color wheel designs as a demonstration was made based on the Game of Thrownes HBO series.

FA 105 2D Design Week 7

Monday we reviewed the objectives of the rough sketches and prepared them for critique on Wednesday. Also on Wednesday students were introduced to the color "wheel" project. Students will create a compiditional design to highlight the primary, secondary and tertiary colors.

On Monday students worked to complete the 20 thumbnail designs for the noun form project. Wednesday was canceled so now students should have the 5 roughs ready for critique on Monday.

Monday students finish working the graphic comps, here are the demonstration results. Wednesday students began gathering reference images for project 2 Noun + Form before holding critique of project #1.

FA 105 2D Design Week 8

Week 8 recap- Monday we critiqued and submitted the Noun Form project demonstrated an abstract approach to creating the color wheel project. Wednesday students received midterm grades and worked on designing their own color "wheel".

FA 105 2D Design Week 5

Week 5 Recap- Monday we finished working on our final graphic compositions focusing on emphasis through value and color. Wednesday we spent time in the computer lab printing and editing images for the noun form project. We ended class by critiquing project 1.
