FA 106 Color Theory PM Week 13

Tuesday and Thursday students worked on finishing the color ribbon project as the critter color tint project demonstration was completed.

FA 210 Digital Painting Week 13

Tuesday students finished and submitted the final character for their design. The presentation will be next Tuesday April 28th. Thursday students attended the lecture by visiting artist Shawn Barber. 

FA 218 Painting 2 Week 13

Tuesday students had their final lab to prepare the portraits for critique on Thursday. Thursday students held a critique of the faces portrait project with visiting artist Shawn Barber. Demonstrations continued with Waddell oil on copper portrait of Heather

FA 106 Color Theory AM Week 13

Tuesday students worked on the color ribbon as the robot color tint demo was continued. Thursday was the portrait painting demo by visiting artist Shawn Barber.

FA 106 Color Theory PM Week 12

Students worked on finishing their color ribbons as the evolution and symbiosis project was introduced. Demonstration for the Eco/symbio project began with the Cyger + WormÑata equation.

FA 210 Digital Painting Week 12

Both days of class were used as work labs to begin to finish the final character. The group presentations will happen on April 28th. Both the final Characature and material studies bonus projects were handed out.

FA 218 Painting 2 Week 12

This was the final full week for students to work on the faces portrait. Portrait demonstrations for the Waddell and mud palette were started, while the Caravaggio palette portrait demo was continued .

FA 106 Color Theory AM Week 12

This week students continued to work on the color ribbon project as the lion skull demonstration was completed. The evolution and symbiosis project was also introduced.

FA 106 Color Theory PM Week 11

Tuesday and Thursday students met to work on the color ribbons. Demonstration for the möbius dodo was finished.

FA 210 Digital Painting Week 11

Tuesday students continued working on the roughs which will be due next Tuesday at the end of class. Thursday = da Vinci

FA 218 Painting 2 Week 11

Tuesday students attended the Ruth Foote lecture and reception before having some time to work on projects. Thursday's class was also part of the daVinci trip.

Tuesday students continued starting the color ribbon while Thursday was the Da Vinci trip to the RMSC

FA 106 Color Theory PM Week 10

This week students continued to finish their Faces pixel projects while starting the color ribbon design. 

FA 210 Digital Painting Week 10

On Tuesday students should have the silhouettes completed and after discussing things with the group chosen their 5 roughs to begin further development. These will be due Tuesday April 14th. 

FA 218 Painting 2 Week 10

With three weeks left to the Faces/Historical Portrait critique students should be laser focused on completing the project for Thursday April 23. Demonstration for the Scott Waddell palette on copper was begun. 

FA 106 Color Theory AM Week 10

Students finished up work on the Faces of MV Pixel Portrait Project. Demonstrations for the color ribbon were begun.
