FA 106 Color Theory PM Week 3

On Wednesday students began work on the color triad+ demonstration continued with the 4 horseman design.

FA 106 Color Theory Week 11

Mon Wed class had both sessions and worked on starting the color ribbon project. Tues class started the color ribbon and submitted the pixel portrait for grading. Thursday students had a field trip to see both the Clark Instititute in williamstown and Mass MOCA in north Adams.

Tuesday students continued starting the color ribbon while Thursday was the Da Vinci trip to the RMSC

FA 101 General Drawing Week 15

This week students were introduced to an acrylic wash drawing method as a means of infusing color into the drawing process. Students were asked to focus on drawing a single object in dramatic lighting by layering acrylic washes and adding color pencil to deepen shadows. Students also brought in 5 drawings for a one on one portfolio review of the semester. 

FA 106 Color Theory Week 11

Both class sessions this week students worked on the Face pixel portrait project. Students will review progress in a group critique this coming thurs nov 13 and turn in the final image on tues nov 18.

FA 106 Color Theory Week 15

Tuesday student finished working on the final and bonus projects, while we held final critique on Thursday.
