This week students began work on the palette project. Students are to produce two separate paintings using the matrix of Style, Palette and Subject. Shellac must be used for at least one piece. Demonstrations for Shellac/Mud Palette/Imagined Still Life and Abstract/Glaze Palette/Landscape were begun.

FA 218 Painting 2 Week 12
This was the final full week for students to work on the faces portrait. Portrait demonstrations for the Waddell and mud palette were started, while the Caravaggio palette portrait demo was continued .

FA 209 Painting 1 week 15-16
Week 15-16 recap - final critique was held on December 12 for the: color box, palette project, drape/portrait/cast, and final projects. Students will have completed 10 total paintings for the semester. Demonstrations were given for each.

FA 218 Painting 2 Week 13
Week 13 recap- this week students continued to work on the color box, shellac, and final painting projects. Demonstration focused on mud palette and finishing the portrait projects.

FA 218 Painting 2 Week 12
Week 12 Recap - this week students were encouraged to start all remaining projects. In doing so it is my hope to create momentum for finishing the last pieces and avoid excessive procrastination. Demonstrations included further progress on the Yeti final and the mud palette still life.
