On Tuesday students finished the face/blot project, while on Thursday we began the pixel portrait project. Demonstration began with a non traditional grid and transfer by projection. Each of the six minimum color on these portraits should have at least 5 values.

FA 101 General Drawing Week 9
Tuesday students worked on the Low Key (values 5-9) drawing while Thursday students finished the Value Stations project with the Full Value (1-9) drawing. Midterm grade progress was given and homework 3 (object x3, clouds, and Russo ticket) was due Thursday. Next week charcoal drawings will begin.

FA 104 Figure Drawing 2 Week 7
Week 7 recap- this week students began their mid term Figure in Space drawing. Students should have at least 7 figures, one overlap, full light and shadow shading with a background included. Dues Tuesday

FA 106 Color Theory Week 6
Week 6 Recap- Tues we printed, gridded and transferred the pixel images for our value project. Thursday students began painting their projects, specifically focusing on using all colors in different values to abstract the original picture. Demo included finishing the baby portraits and will start a large piece next week.
