FA 209 Painting 1 Week 13

Students continued to work on the palette project while a combination portrait/palette project #2 demonstration was made by the instructor as Nicole sat for the painting. Clips of Painting the Classic Self-Portrait by Kerry Dunn were shown on the crafty.com platform. Kerry is an instructor at the Incamminati school in Philly.

FA 106 Color Theory Week 13

Students got back grades for the pixel project while continuing to work on the robot/critter project. Students were also introduced to the final project on Thursday.

FA 101 General Drawing Week 12

This week students focused on making white chalk drawings on toned paper for Tuesday's class, while making a large full page still life drawing on tone paper for Thursday. Students will submit a best drawing at the end of class next Thursday to be considered for inclusion of the drawing show. 

FA 104 Figure Drawing 2 Week 12

This week began our last anatomy section the head, neck and features of the face. Tues was a short portrait warm up before attending the Richard Barlow opening lecture/reception. Thursday combine the head and neck gesture with the features lecture. Next week will be specifically a portrait drawing focus week.

FA 209 Painting 1 Week 12

This week students began creating the designs for the palette project. Matching a style with a palette and a subject. Demonstration 1 paired a cityscape with a shellac style and full palette use.

FA 106 Color Theory Week 12

This week students worked to finish the Family Faces project and started the Robot / Critter Tonal Tint project.
